Ordering Guidelines

As of 5/13/13: 

Current forging time is about 2-3 weeks minimum (before shipping), depending on what you order.  It can take up to 6 weeks depending on the item.   Questions? 

THIS IS A BUSY TIME OF YEAR.  IF YOU NEED IT BY A SPECIFIC DATE, PLEASE CONTACT ME AND/OR CONSIDER EXPEDITED FORGING.

(Forging time is the time needed to actually form, stamp, polish, and finish your customized item. Shipping time is additional to forging time and dependent on the USPS.)

FATHER'S DAY DEADLINE 2013 - TO SHIP BY 6/11/13 PLACE YOUR ORDER BY 6/1/13.

Here at Birth Designs, we are a small studio (meaning, a solo artisan, ME, makes each and every piece by hand) ...so, we have a finite number of orders we can produce for each holiday. Please note that the dates below are a guideline, and are subject to change at any time based on our order loads. Hopefully these will help you plan for your special occasions =)

Please remember that EXPEDITED SHIPPING only upgrades your shipping, not your processing/forging time. If you would like to pay for EXPEDITED FORGING TIME, we do offer that. It is subject to the artist's approval, though. Check with us immediately if you purchase this option, and make sure it's possible to receive it by your projected date.

Christmas 2012

Order no later than Saturday, December 1st, 2012 at midnight PST to be shipped by Wednesday, December 19th, First Class Mail.  I am not responsible for the USPS, so if you'd like a mailing upgrade, or have questions, contact me PRIOR to ordering.  Thank you!

Valentine's Day 2013

Order by January 28th to ship by February 8th.

Mother's Day 2013

Order no later than Thursday April 25th to ship by Tuesday May 7th, First Class Mail.  I am not responsible for the USPS, so if you'd like a mailing upgrade, or have questions, please contact me PRIOR to ordering.  Thank you!!

Father's Day 2013

Order no later than June 1st to have your order ship USPS Mail by June 11th.  I am NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE USPS, SO IF YOU'D LIKE REAL TIME TRACKING OR TO BE ABSOLUTELY SURE, PURCHASE OR CONTACT ME ABOUT A MAILING UPGRADE PRIOR TO ORDERING.  Thank you!!
